About Me
Welcome! I'm Margaret!
It's time to break free from diet culture and feel your absolute best.
I see you trying various diets and exercise regimens to get your body to a place society tells you it should be.
I see you frustrated as hell when you don't get results you want.
I see you reading, researching, trying your best just to have diets fail you.
I see you worrying so much about your body.
I see you miserably overthinking food, and making yourself live the life diet culture pushes you to.
I see you avoiding fun events and activities because you "don't have enough self control" or are "afraid of ruining your progress."
I see you overwhelmed and consumed by food that you missed the entire conversation.
I see you struggling in your own skin.
You don’t have to struggle any longer.
But I completely get it because 9 years ago I was in your shoes.
You want to feel incredible and confident in your skin without sacrificing the joy of eating -- and without overthinking food choices or forcing yourself to exercise or skipping events -- you have tried so many diets and habits that haven't worked.
Hi there, I'm Margaret.
This does not have to be your path.
I am a registered dietitian nutritionist passionate about helping women successfully achieve your nutrition and wellness goals while continuing to live life the way they want to, without the diets and food stress.
I help women feel confident in their body and food choices through mindful and intuitive eating so they break free from the weight of diet culture, increase their energy, and feel their absolute best.
Here's my story...
In my teenage years, I was surrounded by the culture of "skinnier is better" and "you must do this to get there" diets.
After trying various diets and exercise plans to get my body to a place I thought it should be, I hit a wall. I didn't want to force myself to move, to eat 1200 calories a day or to only eat salads during the week and cheat on the weekends. I knew there had to be more to the world of dieting than what I was practicing and what the media was telling me.
I wanted to stop overthinking food when I had a happy hour planned. I wanted to be able to enjoy my conversations with friends without letting that thought of how many calories from crackers with cheese I had consumed or what workout I would have to do to offset it. And most of all I wanted to stop letting society dictate how I felt in my own skin and the food choices I made.
I spent hours reading, researching, practicing. I wanted to stop worrying so much about my body, stop thinking so much about food, and start really enjoying life the way I was living it and the way I wanted to live it.
I became a Registered Dietitian 9 years ago because I love food and I love movement. I want to show you how to get back to a place where you find joy in your wellness journey without letting the stress of society dictate your choices and feelings.
